This elegant vintage botanical print by Trowbridge features “Cosmanthus grandiflorus,” after the work of celebrated 19th century Belgian botanist and horticultural illustrator Louis van Houtte. Van Houtte’s botanical studies are admired for their combination of scientific accuracy and artistic beauty, and this example has a particularly delicate and refined composition. The soft lavender blooms and vivid green foliage create a gentle color palette that feels fresh, timeless, and highly decorative.

The print is presented in a striking custom frame that feels very reminiscent of Hollywood Regency style, with mirrored panels layered over a silver painted wood surround that adds depth, glamour, and sophistication to the presentation.
