Executed in richly toned mahogany, the chair features a beautifully shaped open back with a pierced splat highlighted by carved scrollwork and a decorative central motif. The flowing arms terminate in gentle curves, while the shaped seat rail and finely carved cabriole-style front legs add movement and visual interest, reflecting the lingering influence of Chippendale design during the period.
