The top of the buffet is crowned with an ornately carved pediment and flanked by elegantly turned columns, presenting a regal and stately appearance.

Upon closer inspection, the buffet shows signs of its age and history, including small pieces of molding that are missing from the skirt adjacent to the columns and along the outer edges of the pediment. Furthermore, there is a small repair on the right front corner of the skirt where the molding was reattached, bearing witness to the piece’s resilience and the care taken to preserve its integrity over the years.
