The Gothic Revival style was one of the defining decorative movements of the mid-19th century, and the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company produced some of the finest pressed glass of the era. This elegant celery vase features the sought-after Gothic Arch pattern, with repeating pointed arches inspired by medieval architecture. Originally intended for displaying fresh celery—a prized delicacy on Victorian dining tables—today it makes a beautiful vessel for flowers or a striking display piece in any collection of early American glass.

Expertly molded in clear pressed glass, the vase displays exceptional depth and crisp detail throughout. The scalloped rim, paneled body, and molded pedestal foot create a graceful silhouette while highlighting the remarkable quality achieved by Boston & Sandwich during the height of American pressed glass production. The substantial weight and brilliant clarity further reflect the craftsmanship that has made the company’s work highly collectible.

This vase is in nice antique condition, consistent with age and normal use. The glass presents beautifully with no significant issues noted, retaining excellent clarity and crisp molded detail throughout. It is equally at home in a collection of early American glass or displayed as an elegant decorative accent in a modern or traditional interior. 10h x 5.5w x 5.5d
