This charming American Empire side chair dates to the mid 19th century and features the flowing, sculptural lines that define the period. Crafted in flame mahogany, the chair displays beautiful movement in the grain, especially along the shaped back splat and curving saber legs. The seat is upholstered in a vintage needlepoint textile featuring a floral bouquet design, which complements the warmth of the mahogany beautifully.
