This distinguished 18th-century New Hampshire Queen Anne maple highboy, a testament to early American craftsmanship, showcases the enduring appeal and functionality typical of the period. The highboy features a two-part structure—an upper section with multiple drawers above a lower table-like part, providing ample storage and organizational space, a characteristic sought after in its time and still appreciated today.

The highboy is constructed from rich maple wood, its warm, honey-toned finish accentuating the natural beauty and grain, adding to its inviting aesthetic. It is fitted with traditional Queen Anne brass hardware, which complements the wood’s warm tones and enhances the piece’s historical authenticity. Notable design elements include elegantly shaped cabriole legs and a delicately carved fan motif on the lower drawer, hallmark features of the Queen Anne style known for its elegance and attention to detail.

This piece has stood the test of time and remains in commendable condition, with several drawer fronts having undergone careful repairs in the past to maintain functionality and appearance. These restorations are a testament to the value and beloved status of the highboy, making it not just a functional item of furniture but a cherished link to the past, perfectly suited for both traditional and contemporary interiors that value historical craftsmanship. 65h x 38w x 18d
