A handsome pair of Centennial Revival twin four-poster beds dating to the mid-20th century and modeled after Federal and Sheraton forms of the early 19th century. Each features solid mahogany headboards and footboards with delicately turned posts, fluted and reeded details, and finials that lend an air of early American refinement.
The sets of rails are maple—typical of quality construction of the period—chosen for strength and durability, secured with original brass hardware for a proper fit and finish. The combination of warm mahogany and maple gives the beds both structural integrity and period-correct aesthetic appeal, making them well-suited for guest rooms, historic homes, and designer spaces that favor symmetry and traditional silhouettes.
In nice vintage condition with wear consistent with age and normal use. A wonderful opportunity to acquire a true matching pair, as twin sets of this type and quality seldom surface together. 49h x 42w x 81d
