A handsome mid-19th century Sheraton cookie-corner four drawer chest in mahogany, showing the lingering classical tendencies of the late Federal and Sheraton periods as they transitioned into the Victorian era. The case is distinguished by the characteristic incurved “cookie corner” top, reeded corner stiles, and elegant turned legs that lift the case lightly from the ground.
