This exquisite Louis XVI style coffee table captures the refined elegance of the late 19th century with its richly detailed marquetry and formal neoclassical design. Crafted from rosewood with veneered geometric patterns arranged in a starburst parquetry top, the table is further adorned with a floral marquetry centerpiece and scrolling foliate accents at the corners—all delicately inlaid with satinwood and other contrasting woods. A pierced brass gallery frames the top, adding both function and decorative flair.

Supported by four tapered, fluted legs capped with fine brass collars, this table displays all the hallmarks of the French Imperial style. The legs are well-turned and end in delicate feet, giving the piece a graceful silhouette. The proportions are ideal for use as a coffee or cocktail table in a refined sitting area, and the craftsmanship speaks to its likely origin in a Parisian or Continental European workshop.

The condition is consistent with age and normal use. There are minor losses of veneer along some edges (pictured) as well as light surface wear and scuffs to the finish and brass gallery. Despite these age-related imperfections, the table presents beautifully and remains a striking and elegant accent in any sophisticated interior. 18h x 36w x 22d
