A handsome French Louis XV–style bergère and ottoman suite in walnut dating to the late 19th century, featuring a deeply sculpted frame with sinuous cabriole legs, acanthus accents, and a refined crest that gives the chair an elegant profile. The ottoman echoes the same carved detailing, creating a cohesive and well-balanced presentation.

The upholstery is an older velvet in a soft neutral tone that complements the warmth of the walnut and lends the set a lived-in sophistication. Thick seat cushions make the bergère wonderfully comfortable, and the proportions are generous without being overbearing—equally at home in a sitting room, library, or bedroom.

In nice antique condition consistent with age and normal use. The upholstery shows some sun fading and light wear, particularly to the ottoman, and there are scattered nicks and touch-ups to the frame, all visible in the photos and adding to the character of the set.
