A charming 19th century wingback chair distinguished by its sculptural profile and uncommon ring-turned front legs, a feature not often seen on upholstered seating of this period. The wings sweep gently toward the seat, giving the piece both presence and comfort, while the scroll arms and serpentine crest add a refined silhouette that reads beautifully in a room.

The chair is upholstered in a deep red velvet that brings warmth and visual richness to the form. The turned front legs terminate in brass casters, allowing easy movement, and the rear legs retain a more restrained tapered design, balancing the overall composition. The proportions make it an appealing fireside or library chair, with just enough height to feel enveloping without feeling heavy.

In nice antique condition consistent with age and normal use. The velvet upholstery remains serviceable, though it could benefit from recovering for a fresher presentation, and shows areas of wear and small losses near the front rail. The legs show surface wear to the finish, all visible in the photos.
