This antique Queen Anne mahogany tilt-top breakfast table dates to the late 18th century and is a classic example of the period’s elegant practicality. The square top, shown here in the tilted position, features beautifully figured mahogany with a warm, rich tone that has mellowed naturally over time. Tilt-top tables like this were designed to be easily stored against a wall when not in use, making them especially popular in smaller rooms where flexibility was essential.

The table is supported by a finely turned central column that flows into a graceful tripod base with well-shaped cabriole legs, a hallmark of Queen Anne design. The proportions are well balanced, giving the table a light, refined presence despite its solid construction. When lowered, the top provides an ideal surface for use as a breakfast table, occasional table, or lamp stand, while the tilt mechanism highlights the craftsmanship of the period.

In nice antique condition with wear consistent with age and normal use. The top shows surface wear, light scratches, and subtle variations in color from use over centuries, while the base exhibits expected wear at the feet. These details are appropriate for a late 18th-century piece and contribute to its authentic patina. A versatile and timeless table that works beautifully in both period interiors and thoughtfully layered modern spaces. 28h x 28w x 28d
